Although this couple had met at a few events prior to Online it took some help from Cody's female friends to swipe right on Jennelle's profile for them to connect. Jennelle remembers them matching at the end of January 2019 but not hearing anything from him until she received an invite for a tractor ride at the end of April.

Cody provided Jennelle with directions to a field in McDonald, Jennelle remembers asking if she could bring him anything, drink or snack and his only request was gum. This made her think he maybe had more in mind than an innocent cab ride but she was already at the junction of 1 and 16 so she didn't think she could cancel on him from there.

Jennelle remembers doing all of the talking and her first impression was how quiet Cody was and that even with the gum he hadn't tried to kiss her so he must not be interested.

The week following their date, Jennelle was in Brandon working at a education conference for a couple of days; Suddenly she received a phone call from Cody informing her, he was coming to Treherne for supper he would be there around 6.

Jennelle quickly rushed to a grocery store so she could cook for this man who had invited himself over for supper. She sent a text asking if he was a fussy eater? To which he replied "No" she then further asked if he liked beans, and he replied yes. With Meat and potatoes and green beans she rushed home from Brandon to cook.

Upon arriving home, she ran around tidying her place and cooking. She needed a shower and to do her hair it was an absolute shit show. In rolls Cody at 5:40PM in his coveralls straight off the farm. He seemed to enjoy his meal with the exception of the beans. She asked again oh sorry do you not like beans, to which he replied I like pork and beans.

The rain continued and it was this visit she realized he wasn't quiet at all. Cody slept on the couch and by morning had already received a text message regarding his trucks sleep over at the home of Two Oh Four. T Clothing.

Jennelle asked what his plans were for the day and now looking back she realizes his plan was to move in as he never left. After spending the weekend together, Cody asked Jennelle "So does this make you my girlfriend" to which she laughed.

Next thing she knew she was being paraded around north of Portage as a 4H prized heifer. The rest is history
